The Gambian international plays with a high energy style that made him very popular amongst fans after he joined on loan from Cardiff City in January.
He made 17 appearances since joining Derby and became a key member of the starting XI each and every week.
Fans have sent a clear message out to the club as chants could be heard saying “sign him up” at Pride Park whenever Adams got onto the ball.

He told BBC Radio Derby: "It's never goodbye from me. I don't know where I'm going to be.
“I've really enjoyed my time and I've loved it here. I've loved it. Honestly, I've enjoyed every single minute. Thank you to the fans, thank you to the club.”
It does seem that at some point, the Rams will make a bid for Adams, however, if Cardiff are unwilling to sell him to a now-rival Championship club, it will be tough for Derby to land the 28 year-old’s signature.
Only time will tell to see what happens with fan-favourite Adams.
