Derby shoppers hunting for unique fashion finds on a budget are in for a treat ahead of the festive gifting season.
DAPP (Development Aid from People to People UK) is a brand new retro store that is set to stock top brands such as Vivienne Westwood, whose celeb fans include Dua Lipa, Kim Kardashian and Helena Bonham Carter.

Hide AdOther brands offered at a significantly lower price-point than their original retail price, which shoppers can get their hands on are Moschino, Nike, Adidas and more.

In addition to high-end fashion brands, there will also be items with a starting price point of £1, for budget-conscious shoppers seeking discounts and offers.
DAPP (Development Aid from People to People UK) will be unveiling their new store at a grand opening on Friday, November 17, 2023.
Located on the expansive site of the former BHS building on St Peters Street, it will stock a whopping 15,000 unique vintage, retro and preloved items.

Hide AdDoors open at 11am and there will be DJ and live entertainment to create a shopping experience ‘like no other.’
A spokesperson for DAPP said: “On November 17 we will open our doors to all our amazing customers looking for a great bargain and a sustainable shopping experience where people can buy almost anything.
“We promise an extraordinary day of thrifting, live music and great surprises.”
DAPP is a charity focused on the relief of poverty and the ‘better future of underprivileged populations around the world.’

They have branches in Northampton, Leicester and Hemel Hempstead, plus an eBay store where you can continue your sustainable shopping journey without leaving your home.
The store could be a good place to start for those looking to get ahead of Christmas shopping and buy gifts with a history that make a difference.
