A new pub near the historic Darley Park, a short walk from the city centre has opened.
Formerly The Papermill, Little Darley In The Park (LDITP) pub is located on the edge of Darley Park.
Some say location is everything.
Being situated near one of Derby’s prettiest parks which is also on the River Derwent, at the gateway to World Heritage Site of Derwent Valley Mills is just the icing on the cake for the newest pub on the block.
Operators Derby Brewing Company opened the micropub site on January 29, 2025.
LDITP pub is one of two Derby Brewing Company’s pubs, joining the Mickleover based The Hole In The Wall.
The cosy pub will serve six hand-pulled beers, 14 keg lines, an extensive rotating selection of UK craft beers, ciders and the company’s very own award-winning Derby Brewing beers.
There are also non-alcoholic tipples, fresh bean coffee, world wines, artisan spirits and soft drinks, so there really is something for everyone.
As with a micropub model, there will be deli snacks and cakes available throughout the day.
Location: Little Darley, Darley Street, Darley Abbey, Derby DE22 1DX
