Alfreton-based business marks milestone anniversary with the appointment of a dynamic new CEO

With 30 years’ invaluable experience across the building, plumbing and flooring industries and a passionate, people-focused approach, Kevin Williams has been hand-picked to replace founder and former managing director Adrian Buttress, PermaGroup’s driving force for the past quarter of a century and a vital cog in the company’s assured evolution.

Inheriting a legacy of innovation, reputation and all-round excellence, Kevin - previously a managing director at Headlam Group - is poised to champion PermaGroup’s next exciting phase of growth with a firm focus on teamwork, future-proofing and continued expansion.

“Taking PermaGroup into its next era is a thrilling opportunity,” said Kevin. “The company is already at the forefront of the industry, and I can’t wait to build on this momentum, driving new products, expanding our offerings and growing our customer base to new heights.”

A motivational mentor with a proven track record for bringing out the best in people, Kevin fine-tuned his encouraging leadership style throughout a career within the Travis Perkins group, where he commenced as a management trainee and worked his way up to hold various senior roles across the business.

Now proudly flying the PermaGroup flag, the inspirational new CEO is committed to fostering a culture of positivity and employee wellbeing, believing that internal harmony and a motivated, happy workforce are crucial to productivity, staff retention and unrivalled customer satisfaction.

Originally founded as PermaRoof UK, specialising in flat roofing solutions, PermaGroup has evolved to become one of the UK’s largest licensed importers and distributors of a comprehensive range of Elevate solutions, including cutting edge RubberCover and RubberGard EPDM, Rhenofol PVC and much more, offering an extensive selection of top-tier products and services to commercial, stockist, trade and DIY customers countrywide.

The company’s head office in Derbyshire is also home to a dedicated training facility, where trade professionals can perfect their skills in Elevate RubberCover EPDM fitting and advanced liquid roofing applications.

Despite his resolute devotion to PermaGroup, departing managing director Adrian Buttress has no qualms in passing the mantle, expressing every confidence in his accomplished successor.
