There is something magical about winter in Derbyshire.

It is the time when ground frost provides a shimmering blanket underfoot, as you crunch through leaves and breathe in cool air on crisp mornings.
We have picked out walking trails that appealed to us simply because of their charm.
Explore ancient woodland, traverse easily accessible hill climbs that offer jaw-dropping views.
We hope you get to enjoy peace and calm on these top nine winter walks.
