2. Skegness Beach
One of the most popular beaches close to Derby is Skeg-vegas (if you know, you know). Based in the nearby county of Lincolnshire, Skegness is a seaside resort with a fabulous sandy beach and traditional attractions including the 100-year-old Skegness Pier. Wiggle your toes through warm sand as you gaze over the picturesque coastline at Cleethorpes Beach.
