A Peak District café and top Bakewell bakery is gearing up for a big makeover this summer.
The Bakewell Tart Shop will undergo a June makeover where it will close for three weeks.

Hide AdOwner Duncan Kirk is working hard to take his acclaimed eatery to the next level.
As reported by Insider Media, Duncan’s plans include a brand-new layout, improved café section and counter area.
Always on the lookout to turbo-charge the veritable Derbyshire institution’s appeal - The Bakewell Tart Shop is already Tripadvisor’s number one bakery in Bakewell - a slate of new changes are aimed to elevate diners’ experience.
There will also be a fresh menu serving up a range of sweet and savoury items.

Hide AdPeople can tuck into delectable pastries such as pasties, pies, sandwiches and salad bowls.
Scrumptious bakes and Bakewell Tarts, the divine Derbyshire delicacy, will take pride of place on the menu.
Duncan said: "This transformation is about taking The Bakewell Tart Shop into the future.
“It's not just about a fresh look but a modernised service and a forward-thinking business model.

The World Map of Bakewell Visitors is a new attraction for visitors to celebrate their trip to Bakewell.

Hide AdPeople could previously leave an engraved lock on Weir Bridge, but due to structural concerns, this is no longer possible.
Instead, the map, three metres in width and located at the front of the store, offers an interactive way for guests to leave their mark. Visitors can choose a coloured pin sticker, write their name and date on it, and pin it to the part of the world they come from.
The Bakewell Tart Shop has partnered with Curated Menu Software Ltd, a software platform designed to provide a safer dining experience for customers with food allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences.
The Bakewell Tart Shop will close from June 16 for a three week period.
The grand reopening will take place on July 4.
