Opinionated About Dining (OAD) is a dining survey that has released its list of top restaurants in Europe for 2024.

Hide AdIt has named three Midlands restaurants in its top list packed with 555 highly rated dining establishments.
Claiming the top spot in the Midlands is Derby born chef Sat Bains.
His eponymous eatery, Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham is number 106.
Alchemilla, another Nottingham eatery, is number 348 on the list.

Hide AdAdam’s Restaurant in Birmingham comes in at a very respectable 379.
All three top Midlands restaurants are within one hour away from Derby city centre, making them easily accessible for fans of fine dining in the region.

Sat Bains is a Derby lad and top chef extraordinaire, whose Lenton Lane restaurant is just 25 minutes’ drive from Derby city centre.
As well as heading up an award winning restaurant which boasts a bevvy of Michelin stars (two stars for excellent cooking, one Michelin Green Star for being a leader in sustainable gastronomy), Sat has also created an acclaimed range (Momma Bains) dishes.
