While it might not be the desired message of Easter, we certainly view it as an opportunity to (over) indulge.

Unlike Christmas where there is a whole meal centered around savoury food, we relish the opportunity to get stuck into some sweet stuff.

Matlock Meadows - Easter Mini Egg and Flake ice cream

This award-winning ice cream producer triples up as a coffee shop and gift shop too.

Their flagship Easter themed ice cream is vanilla ice cream swirled through with crumbly Flake and smashed Mini Eggs. 

Enjoy in a cone, sundae, on a waffle, or pancake, the choice is yours.

Peak District Dairy - 30 flavours include artisan vanilla and chocolate

This highly-rated dairy has outstanding Google reviews, with one person hailing it as ‘the best ice cream ever.’

In addition to over 30 flavours of real dairy ice cream, the farm also sells freshly churned milk, cream, butter and farmhouse yoghurts.

Their cows graze on limestone grassland above Tideswell in Derbyshire, 1100 feet above sea level, to ‘ensure the highest quality of milk has been produced using the most environmentally friendly sustainable farming practices.'

Bluebell Dairy & Farm - Easter Egg ice cream

If luxury artisan ice cream is your bag, then Bluebells, as it is fondly known, is the place to be.

This year’s key Easter flavour is Mini Egg ice cream, which can enjoyed in the café or on-site as you stroll through the farm.

Going out for ice cream at Bluebells could take more than a few hours, as it is difficult not to get sucked into the amazing fun vibes at this busy farm.

The family-run park and micro-dairy is set within 320 acres of farmland, attracting visitors from across Derbyshire and beyond.

Their Christmas event saw over 10,000 visitors through the gates and its Easter event, Choccy Woccy Factory is due to be a sell-out.
