New Derbyshire restaurant offers giant Sunday lunch sharing board at historic estate with breath-taking views
A new eatery in Derbyshire is set to open on the historic Horsley Lodge Estate.
Based seven miles away from Derby city centre, the Farmhouse Kitchen will be opening its doors on March 1, 2025.

Hide AdDiscerning diners can expect ‘a true taste of home cooking in a relaxed yet refined dining space’.
The sympathetic transformation of the original 19th century lodge includes three sets of brand-new bifold doors which flood the restaurant with natural light, offering breath-taking views over the new terrace, the ninth hole of the golf course and surrounding stunning countryside.


The modern farmhouse aesthetic features exposed brick walls, an open kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven and stylish new furniture.
Guests can also sip cocktails on the outdoor terrace, perfect for al fresco dining with beautiful countryside views.

Hide AdThe menu will offer dishes cooked with locally sourced ingredients, a mix of wood-fired pizzas, generous sharing platters, and comforting pub classics.


There will be a new Sunday Lunch sharing board for four loaded with trimmings and featuring premium meats from renowned local butcher, Owen Taylors.
