When DerbyWorld approached Pieminister for comment on the closure, a spokesperson said: ‘Nothing set in stone at the moment - just waiting for all the works in the area to finish while we weigh up options.’

The restaurant on Victoria Street in the heart of Derby city centre opened in August 2023.

On the menu were numerous pie flavours such as Free Ranger (chicken, ham and leek) with bottomless gravy, vegan options, ice cream sundaes and cocktails.

DerbyWorld will update this article when more information becomes available.
