A new Derby deli is set to launch in the quaint village of Mickleover.
Brooks Deli & Wine Bar will take up residence at the former Finewood Studios on Station Road just four miles, or a 12-minute drive from Derby city centre.
People can expect ‘great food, drinks and atmosphere’ at the new Mickleover site.
It is the second branch of Brooks Deli & Wine Bar which first opened in Ockbrook in February 2023.
Owners behind the new deli venture hail from a foodie background, having run a deli for 60 years at Derby’s Eagle Centre indoor market.
DerbyWorld understands the food and drink offering at the new Mickleover site will be similar to that at Ockbrook, that is local produce and speciality cheese, cured and fresh meats and artisan snacks.
In the evening the wine bar will serve premium wines, spirits, beer and cocktails.
The Ockbrook site hosts live music evenings platforming local talent and talented sax musicians, this music model could well be replicated to the Mickleover site.
Location: Brooks Deli & Wine Bar, 2-8 Station Road, Mickleover, Derby DE3 9GH
