Recently I was looking through the BBC's Good Food online guide, published earlier this year, which features the best places to eat in cities across the UK including, Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool and Nottingham.
While this is a great resource for anyone planning a city break, I was disappointed to see that Derby was missing from this comprehensive guide. And that got me wondering, surely there are enough great places in Derby to warrant a round-up of its own?
I'm new to the Derby area, so I took to Reddit's Derby community to ask for recommendations of the best places to eat in the city - and they didn't let me down.
