I saved £46 on Too Good To Go mega bargain cake bag crammed with 10 giant muffins from Derby coffee shop
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
I have enjoyed Too Good To Go bags in the past and try to keep an eye on any bargains whenever I check the app every week or so.
I wasn’t expecting anything to take my fancy.
When I saw Bakers + Baristas coffee shop in Derby were offering a Too Good To Go bag, I very nearly didn’t get it.
I bought it on a whim.

Hide AdAs a big fan of baked goods, if cake is involved in my life, that usually means a smile is tugging at the corners of my mouth.
Of course quality is everything, it’s pointless having cake if the texture, aeration, aesthetics aren’t great.
The contents of the Too Good To Go bag took my breath away.

I paid £4 for 10 muffins, one salami sandwich and one cheese toastie, all freshly made on the day of collection (Tuesday, March 11, 2025).
I don’t think it actually hit me how much cake I was given.

Hide AdIt was only when I got home with my precious cargo and started to unbox the food that I realised I’d picked up a mega bargain.
Using the Deliveroo website as a reference for prices, I discovered the cheese toastie is £5.50.
The Salami and Swiss cheese baguette is also £5.50.
Muffins retail from £3.90 or above.
Considering I had 10 muffins plus the two savoury items, the cost of products in the bag easily surpassed £50, I paid just £4 for the whole lot.
The quality of products was very good.

Hide AdI enjoyed the muffins over the course of two days and they remained soft and tender-crumbed when stored in my trusty Lakeland airtight container.
My favourite item was the Biscoff & Caramel muffin which had a delicate butterscotch note humming in the background.

Although items were labelled with use by date to be eaten on the day, I stored in the fridge and ate the day after.
The cheese toastie in particular came up well in the air fryer using the grill function.

Hide AdI am still making my way through the cake bag, suffice to say I was shocked and glad by the quantity and freshness of the cakes.
I will definitely be keeping an eye on Bakers + Baristas coffee shop in Derby, I think I just got lucky but that won’t stop me trying again.
