The county of Derbyshire may be popular for being a beautiful picturesque region with links to Jane Austen, Bakewell tarts and Peak District staycations.
However the county has some very cool aspects, hidden gems if you will, that you may not know about.
From exploring the site of one of the world’s scarcest minerals at Blue John Caverne, to a mysterious hilltop collection of Druid rock carvings, Derbyshire is easily one of the most intriguing regions in the UK.
