CCTV images have been released following a shoplifting incident at Matalan in Derby city centre

Derbyshire Police have released CCTV of a person they are seeking in connection with a shoplifting incident in Derby that left a member of staff injured.

Two teenage girls entered the Matalan store in the Bradshaw Retail Park near the Derbion Centre on Thursday February 6, 2025 at 4pm.

The pair attempted to steal underwear but were challenged by staff – during which one of the staff members suffered a serious injury to her shoulder.

Officers have now released pictures of a person they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
