Derby Ramathon: Road closures and full route as runners prepare to pound streets

Thousands of runners will pound Derby city centre's streets this weekend in the Ramathon.
The 13.1-mile race, which takes place on Sunday, is the oldest and biggest event of its kind in Derbyshire.

Hide AdThe day also includes a five-mile run - and participants will raise pots of cash for various different charities.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of the Ramathon.
Race timings
7.15am - race office, assembly areas and baggage store open
8.55am - Ramathon warm-up
9.13am - wheelchair race starts
9.15am - Ramathon race starts
9.30am - RAM 5 Mile starts
Ramathon route
The half-marathon begins in Iron Gate and takes runners through the city centre via the historic Market Place.
Then it's out on London Road and Shardlow Road, on to beautiful Elvaston Castle Country Park, through Elvaston Park and past Derby County's Pride Park stadium.
Then it's back to the city centre for the big finish.
