Derbyshire weather: Exact time snow is set to arrive across Derbyshire with freezing temperatures forecast

The Weather Channel and AccuWeather are both predicting snow in the East Midlands on Tuesday (November 19)
In Derby, the first day of snow is predicted on Saturday, November 23.
In Chesterfield, temperatures are set to drop next week. Sleet showers are forecast between midday and 2.00pm on November 19, with highs of just 3°C expected.

Hide AdFor the rest of the week in Chesterfield, temperatures will hover between highs of 4°C and lows of -3°C – but the chilly conditions are not currently forecast to bring any more sleet or snow to the town.
In Matlock, sleet is expected to arrive between 6.00am and midday on November 19, with temperatures reaching a high of 3°C.
Cold but dry weather will then continue for much of next week in Matlock, before November 23 brings light snow at 6.00am and sleet at 10.00am
In Buxton, sleet showers are expected to start at 6.00am on November 18, continuing until 10.00am. A mixture of heavy and light snow is then forecast from 6.00am until 9.00am on November 19. Temperatures on November 19 will peak at 0°C.

Hide AdOn November 20, more light and heavy snow is forecast for Buxton between 6.00am and 10.00am. November 21 and 22 will bring sunny but cold conditions, before sleet showers for much of the day on November 23.
In Alfreton, sleet is forecast between 6.00am and midday on November 19 – with highs of 3°C. Light snow is then forecast in Alfreton at 6.00am on November 23 – with further sleet showers taking place later that day.
In Belper, sleet showers are forecast between 7.00am and midday on November 19. Light snow is expected to arrive at 6.00am on November 23 – before sleet showers later that day and highs of 3°C.
On November 19, Bakewell will be hit by sleet showers between 7.00am and midday – with temperatures peaking at 3°C. Wintry conditions will continue throughout next week, before light snow falls between 1.00am and 7.00am on November 23 – followed by sleet at 10.00am.
