Goals from Louie Sibley and new star Dwight Gayle helped the Rams to a 3-0 win leaving them in second place and in the thick of the promotion race.

Defender Sonny Bradley had a slow start to his Derby career in the summer but has now found a consistent place in the first team.

The 32 year-old is confident that the Rams can earn promotion and spoke to Derbyshire Live, saying there could be good news regarding injury concerns.

He said: "We are hungry and everything we said at the start of the season, about our ambitions of going up, we feel good and I feel like we have a real chance."

He mentioned a number of returning players that had been out with injury too, including his own fitness which is at the best since the start of the season.

The centre back added: "A lot can change, but I feel really good. I feel fit, the fittest I've been all season.

"We've got players coming back. Martyn Waghorn is back, I saw Conor Washington out on the grass recently, Dwight Gayle scored his first goal, there's good news about James Collins potentially."

James Collins looked to be out for a lengthy period with a knee injury but if Bradley's word is anything to go by, it looks like he could be a lot closer to a return soon.

That would leave the Rams with two proven goalscorers in Collins and Gayle at the end of the season which could be crucial, especially if they have to earn promotion through the playoffs.

Paul Warne had touched on Collins' return and has indicated that it could be before the end of March.
