Derby County predicted XI for huge promotion clash with Bolton Wanderers
Derby County vs Bolton Wanderers kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 16 March
Derby County face a visit from third-placed Bolton Wanderers this weekend as they look to extend the gap on their promotion rivals.
The Rams find themselves in good form with three wins in a row and it has come at the perfect time as Paul Warne's side prepare for arguably the biggest game of the season.
Recent injury news has been disappointing with star defender Ryan Nyambe out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery.
It gives him a tougher lineup choice with fewer options available in defence ahead of one of the biggest games this season.
Here is the predicted starting XI for Paul Warne's side on Saturday:
Formation: 3-4-3
Goalkeeper: Joe Wildsmith

Joe Wildsmith has conceded just one goal in his last three games, the Rams shot stopper will keep his place likely until Josh Vickers returns from injury. However, if Wildsmith continues to perform then he may solidify his place in the starting lineup.
Defender: Eiran Cashin

Eiran Cashin has been playing more of a wide role in the back three lately. His good ball control allows him to play down the line more and look for long balls forward, something that Cashin excells at.
Defender: Sonny Bradley

Sonny Bradley has become somewhat of a second captain on the field for the Rams. His experience of promotion with Luton Town could become invaluable. In a big occasion like Saturday will be, the 32 year-old could play a big part.
Defender: Curtis Nelson

Curtis Nelson has continued his streak of playing every single minute of the season for Derby. An impressive record in his first season. Assuming no injury to him, Nelson could end the season holding that accolade.
Left wing back: Louie Sibley

Louie Sibley would be a potential contender to drop from Tuesday's game against Reading if Paul Warne wanted to make changes. However, he has been in good form lately and so it would make plenty of sense for him to remain in the starting XI.
Right wing back: Joe Ward

Joe Ward has been one of Derby's best players over the past three games. His crossing into the box has been a delight to watch and his defensive play has really shone through. A must start against Bolton.
Centre midfielder: Conor Hourihane

Conor Hourihane scored the winning goal against Reading last time out via a 70th minute penalty. There was a lot of pressure on the 33 year-old, but he was the calmest man in the stadium. Hopefully he can recreate it under the pressure of a promotion clash on Saturday.
Centre midfielder: Ebou Adams

Ebou Adams could be another possible casulty to be dropped to the bench after he picked up a yellow card against Reading. However, Paul Warne will likely want to put Adams out there due to his high energy style of play. It could be useful against a high pressing Bolton.
Left wing: Tom Barkhuizen

Tom Barkhuizen, much like Joe Ward, has been one of the best players over the past couple of weeks. He has showcased his speed and attacking relationship with Nathaniel Mendez-Laing. Certainly deserving of a start on Saturday.
Right wing: Nathaniel Mendez-Laing

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing didn't score or assist against Reading, which now seems more uncommon. He has been excellent lately and if the Rams are to get a result against Bolton, he will play a massive part in it.
Dwight Gayle scored his third Derby goal in five games on Tuesday night and has shown why he is a proven goalscorer. A fantastic signing and one that could elevate the Rams to the Championship.
