Derby County vs Shrewsbury Town kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 10 February

Derby County look to put pressure on league leaders Portsmouth this weekend as they face Shrewsbury Town at Pride Park.

The Rams find themselves in second place, just four points behind Pompey with a game in hand. With a win they would stay in second place but keep putting the pressure on their promotion rivals.

They face a Shrewsbury Town side who are the joint-lowest scoring team in the league. Paul Warne will be hoping his side can prevent them from scoring again and get the three points.

Here is the predicted lineup for Saturday's match:

Formation - 3-5-2

Goalkeeper: Josh Vickers

Josh Vickers has been Paul Warne's first choice keeper since the new year and he has been solid. Vickers kept a clean sheet at Charlton last weekend and so should be in line to start again.

He did pick up a yellow card which could make Warne change back to Joe Wildsmith however.

Centre back: Eiran Cashin

Eiran Cashin recently signed a new deal keeping him at Pride Park until 2027. He will be a big part of any promotion push that the Rams face this season.

Centre back: Curtis Nelson

Curtis Nelson, alongside the other two centre backs managed to contribute to a clean sheet on Saturday, he will be hoping for more of the same this weekend.

Centre back: Sonny Bradley

Sonny Bradley has been getting more and more gametime lately despite his poor form earlier in the season.

If Warne commits to switching to a back three, he may start to see a lot more minutes.

Left wing back: Louie Sibley

Louie Sibley has been playing at left back more recently and is starting to really suit the position. He was one of the best players on the pitch against Charlton last weekend.

Right wing back: Kane Wilson

Last weekend, Wilson was dropped but came on as a sub in the second half. He looked good when he was on the pitch and so Paul Warne could revert back to starting him against Shrewsbury on Saturday.

Centre midfield: Conor Hourihane

Conor Hourihane has been in Derby's starting lineup all season long and he will be keen to carry on his streak. The 33 year-old hasn't been firing as of late and will be desperate for a good showing and maybe a goal.

Centre midfield: Max Bird

Max Bird recently 'moved' to Bristol City, however he will stay at Pride Park for the rest of the season on loan. Bird will be keen on ending his Derby career on a high with a promotion charge.

Ebou Adams had a fantastic debut against Charlton last weekend, he was all over the pitch and really impressed. He will be ready to face his Pride Park debut against Shrewsbury.

Striker: James Collins

James Collins was recently nominated for two player of the month awards, he will be ready to continue his good form and find the net against his former side in Shrewsbury Town.

Striker: Nathaniel Mendez-Laing

Mendez-Laing went off injured after he scored against Charlton last weekend. He is recovering and Paul Warne has said he may be ready for Saturday's game.

If he is available he will start because the Guatemalan is key to any Derby success.
