Derby County look for their sixth win in a row

Derby County head into the weekend in fine form. The Rams will host Wycombe Wanderers looking to make it six league wins in a row.

With a win, the Rams could go up as high as second in League One as they attempt to catch up to league leaders Portsmouth.

Paul Warne will be confident that his side can win again after they come off the back of a 3-0 away win against Leyton Orient last Saturday.

Here is the predicted line up for Derby this weekend.

Formation - 4-5-1

Goalkeeper - Joe Wildsmith

Joe Wildsmith has kept four clean sheets in Derby's past five games and he has helped the Rams to the best defensive record in the league.

Starting the shot stopper is a no brainer for Paul Warne.

Left back - Craig Forsyth

Despite his age, Craig Forsyth has been playing some of the best football of his long Derby career this season. Having moved back to left back following last season at centre back, he looks as comfortable as ever.

Centre back - Eiran Cashin

Eiran Cashin has been one of the best defenders in League One this season and is a vital part of Derby's success in stopping the opposition.

It will be tricky for the Rams to hold onto Cashin in January, but for now, Paul Warne will want to get the most out of him whilst he's still at Pride Park.

Centre back - Curtis Nelson

Like Cashin, Curtis Nelson has been fantastic too this season. He has shown a lot of experience and solidity at the back so far and will be a big part of the Rams back four for the remainder of the year.

Right back - Joe Ward

Joe Ward started in the Rams' last game against Leyton Orient replacing an injured Ryan Nyambe. Even though Nyambe should be fit to return, it makes sense for Paul Warne to start Ward again after a good performance and without risk of re-injuring Ryan Nyambe.

Centre midfield - Conor Hourihane

Conor Hourihane has been a bit inconsistent recently, but he has began to show his quality going forward in the last couple of weeks. No doubt, manager Paul Warne will be looking for the Rams' captain to show leadership on the pitch going forward.

Centre midfield - Max Bird

Max Bird has been excellent recently, the 23 year-old has shown a lot of maturity in the Rams' midfield and has caused opposition defences a lot of problems. He'll be one to watch on Saturday.

Centre midfield - Louie Sibley

Louie Sibley scored in Derby's last outing against Leyton Orient with a beautiful finish into the bottom corner. The midfielder showed his finishing ability and Paul Warne will be hoping that he can continue his scoring form.

Left wing - Nathaniel Mendez-Laing

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has been one of the best players in League One this season. The Guatemalan winger scored his fifth league goal of the season and recorded his sixth assist. He will no doubt have a big impact on Saturday against Wycombe.

Right wing - Kane Wilson

Kane Wilson played brilliantly against Leyton Orient and has established himself as a big part of Derby's attack. He could be subject to dropping for Tom Barkhuizen who scored last weekend, but Wilson has looked better overall this season so he gets the start here.

Striker - James Collins

James Collins will be desperate to add to his goals tally after he came up empty in the Rams' last game. He will be concious of the threat to his starting position with the recent impact of Tyreece John-Jules. Collins will be hungry for goals on Saturday.
