Four former Derby County players to play in Craig Forsyth’s testimonial

On Saturday 22 July, the Rams play host to Stoke City for thier fourth preseason friendly.
The game will act as Craig Forsyth’s testimonial match as he has now spent over 10 years at Pride Park.

Hide AdFour of Forsyth’s former teamates are set to come on late in the game to make the occasion that bit more special.
Midfielders Craig Bryson and Bradley Johnson will be appearing in the game with strikers Martyn Waghorn and David Nugent are also set to join.
Craig Bryson is somewhat of a legend in many Rams fans’ minds. The 36-year-old Scotsman made over 270 appearances for Derby scoring 42 goals along the way. He’s now retired from the game after short spells at Aberdeen, St Johnstone and Stenhousemuir.

Finally, journeyman David Nugent, who scored 17 goals in over 90 appearances for the Rams. The 38-year-old retired from professional football in 2021.
The game will be available on Rams TV, with coverage starting at 2:30pm.
