The 28 year-old has been with the Tangerines since 2020, but is likely to move in January as Blackpool aim to sell him before they're forced to let him go for free in the summer.

Championship clubs QPR and Huddersfield Town are also interested in the winger according to Football Insider in order to bolster their attack.

Hamilton has made 97 appearances for the Tangerines including 18 this season , where he has recorded one goal and six assists.

Before his time at Bloomfield Road, Hamilton has also had spells with Mansfield Town and Sheffield United.

He would add to a talented room of wingers at Pride Park with the likes of Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Joe Ward and Kane Wilson giving Paul Warne even more options going forward.

However, due to the Rams being League One promotion rivals, Blackpool may be reluctant to let Hamilton go to a team that could end the season fighting with them for a playoff place.

Blackpool are currently one place below the Rams, but they are level on points with Derby having two games in hand.

In that case it would be more likely that the Tangerines will let Hamilton move to either QPR or Huddersfield Town, two sides that are desperate for some form as they are both in the bottom four of the second tier.

Hamilton primarily plays on the right wing but can also play on the left and as an attacking midfielder. This versatility would be ideal for Paul Warne who likes to move players around a lot during the game, especially when changing formation.
