Derby County’s season has been simply historic for the club after such a dire period.
Following relegation to League One, it has take Paul Warne’s side just two seasons to get back into the Championship and put behind them the dark times of administration and EFL point deductions.
The Rams won 28 out of 46 games, scoring 78 goals and putting in some impressive performances along the way.
With so many Derby players contributing to promotion, it is difficult to pick out a team that have really shone above the others.
But with that in mind, here is our Derby County team of the season...

1. Goalkeeper: Joe Wildsmith
Joe Wildsmith won the League One golden glove award this season for the most clean sheets in the division. Somewhat of a career year for the former Sheffield Wednesday man. | Getty Images

2. Defender: Curtis Nelson
Curtis Nelson was the only outfield player in League One to play in every single minute of the season. He also won Derby County's official player of the year award. A fantastic signing in the summer. | Getty Images

3. Defender: Eiran Cashin
Cashin was one of the best defenders in the League yet again this year. The 22 year-old proved why he is rated as such an exciting young talent. | Getty Images

4. Defender: Ryan Nyambe
Nyambe joined for free in September and what a signing he proved to be. The former Wigan and Blackburn man was one of the best players in black and white until he got injured in January. Photo: Cameron Howard
