Keogh spent seven years at Derby County and was made captain for the whole of his time at Pride Park where he helped the Rams to two Championship playoff finals.
The defender ended his time at Pride Park in disgrace though as he was axed as captain following an incident where he was a passenger in a car crash which involved a driver that was over the drink-drive limit.

Hide AdKeogh was sacked in 2019 and appealed for unfair dismissal which the Professional Footballer’s Association ruled - it forced the club to pay the defender £2.3 million in compensation.
It was a sore end to Keogh’s largely successful time at Derby where he was a fan favourite for many years.
He has joined Blackpool’s coaching staff despite spending just one season there in the 2021/22 season where he played under current Tangerines boss Neil Critchley.
He will now be part of his backroom staff at the League One club.
