Rumours of interest from the Rams, Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday has developed for the attacking midfielder who is available for transfer according to his parent club.
A move looks likely for Dembele as Brest’s Sporting Director confirmed to L’Equipe that he will depart the club and so Derby could make a move for the 21 year-old and have been given the green light.

He could provide a good replacement for Max Bird at Derby County and seeing as the Rams are in need of midfield help, he could be a strong target for Paul Warne.
It was originally reported that the Rams were looking at either a loan deal or permanent deal for Dembele, however as it seems that he will be leaving Brest, it would seem to be permanent if Warne targeted the 21 year-old.
However, with significant interest from Championship rivals Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday, the Rams may have to move fast.
