Derby County secured a hard-fought point with a goalless draw against Oxford United at Pride Park Stadium in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday evening.
The match remained tightly contested, with Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Kenzo Goudmijn coming close to breaking the deadlock for the Rams in the first half.
Both defences held firm in the second period, and despite Derby’s late pressure—including a missed header from Marcus Harness—the game ended 0-0.
Next up, the Rams travel to London to take on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Friday night (8pm kick-off) in their next Sky Bet Championship fixture.
