Derby County had a memorable season this year after they earnt League One promotion back to the Championship.
Paul Warne’s side finished second with the best defensive record in the league and a high scoring year too.
There were a number of stand out players for Derby both in stopping opposing teams and going forward.
Before the preparations for next season, Paul Warne will no doubt reflect on his second year in charge with fond memories.
Here are Derby’s player ratings from this past season.
1. Joe Wildsmith: 9/10
Derby's goalkeeper won the League One golden glove award and it is no suprise after a season that was filled with a number of memorable saves and performances from the former Sheffield Wednesday man.
2. Kane Wilson: 7/10
Kane Wilson has been a consistent member of the starting XI for the majority of the season. He really kicked on when Paul Warne began playing wing backs more often. Going forward he was fantastic this year. Photo: Michael Regan
3. Craig Forsyth: 6/10
Forsyth's likely final season was tarnished with injury for a lot of the time. He played in the starting XI often towards the start of the season, but hasn't appeared too often since.
4. Conor Hourihane: 7/10
Derby's captain has been a great leader this season and has played a big part on the pitch. Towards the end of the season, Hourihane spent more time on the bench, but even so, a good season for the 33 year-old.
