Dajaune Brown has scored seven goals in just 15 games

Derby County's squad feels like a mixture of older veterans and young talent. However, one young star is impressing away from Pride Park.

18 year-old Dajaune Brown is currently on loan at National League side Gateshead and has helped propell them into a promotion battle.

Brown has played just 15 games for the Heed and yet he has scored seven goals and recorded two assists.

At such a young age, he has been able to become somewhat of a star man for Gateshead in a very short amount of time.

Brown left on loan in January until the end of the season, but having been in excellent form, his short term impact has put Gateshead up to fourth in the National League - they were ninth before he joined.

His biggest achievements include scoring a hat trick in the FA Trophy quarter-final to help his side progress to the semis, and also, scoring two goals and a man of the match performance in their most recent 7-1 demolition of Hartlepool United.

All of this is a good sign for the Rams who seem to have a very exciting and proven goalscorer in their ranks.

Brown had made five first team appearances for Derby this season before he left on loan, we can expect to see that number rise next season assuming he doesn't head out on loan again.

Someone to be excited about for the future, Brown could be a real star.
