MMA ambitions, coaching women in Florida... The last Derby County team to get promoted, where are they now?

Derby County were last promoted in 2007 via the Championship playoff final

Derby County find themselves on the brink of promotion with just one game left to go.

The Rams are one point away from a return to the Championship as they prepare to face last placed Carlisle United at Pride Park - it almost seems too good to be true.

Derby’s record with promotion chases hasn’t been particularly good in recent years. Between 2011 and 2019, the Rams were always fighting for promotion from the Championship but it never materialised with two playoff final losses in 2014 and 2019.

However, if they do get over the line this weekend, it will be the first promotion for Derby County since they beat West Bromich Albion in the Championship playoff final back in 2007.

The Rams won 1-0 with a late winner and earnt their spot in the Premier League.

But where is that Derby County team now?
