We're obsessed with Derby's roarsome dinosaur display
They’re only out on the rampage for a few weeks, so you may want to visit them before the dinosaurs go in hibernation till next year!
Shopping can be so enjoyable, but add some beastly creatures to the mix and you’ve got an unforgettable experience.
Dinosaurs have made a welcome return to Derbion shopping centre and are ready to thrill the people of Derby with a roarsome time.
They are so life-like, we had to double-take when we went along to visit them.
The very special Dinosaur Trail consists of 14 gigantic animatronic beasts who can be found dotted around the shopping centre.
It is up to you to see how many you can spot.
If you didn’t know beforehand about the dinosaurs, bumping into them in Derbion could be an unexpected treat or surprise.
The dinosaurs roar and move, which adds to the drama of the display.
Although the dinosaurs are fenced off, you can grab a selfie with T-Rex, watch a Pteranodon flap its wings or pose in a baby dino egg.
The best part of the trail - apart from being in a shopping centre where you can grab a milkshake and go on a cool dinosaur adventure - is that the trail is free!
Little ones who are die-hard dinosaur fans can go ‘all in’ on the dinosaur fun, by booking onto immersive Palaeontology workshops.
These cost £4 per child and are bookable online.

When the workshop is finished they can even take home a little dinosaur fossil of their own.
