'Ultimate' chicken wing festival heading to Derby as part of UK tour - what you need to know

The city is to host the East Midlands’ leg of the ‘UK’s ultimate’ Chicken Wing Festival showcasing ‘the best chicken wings out there.’
Live music, tasty tipples, and fabulous activities are the usual ingredients for a great festival and this one celebrating the humble chicken wing sounds super fun.

Chicken Wing Festival will be on the road visiting six cities, kicking off the tour at Derby which is a great coup for the city.
London, Norwich, Bristol, and Sheffield venues have been announced, while confirmation of a Manchester date will be made in the coming weeks.
People can enjoy cool pints or shots of warming Bourbon.
If you’re in a chilled-out mood, listen to amazing live music in the background, or if you have a competitive streak then have a go at axe-throwing.
Over 60,000 wings are set to be served by 10 different street food traders, restaurants, and BBQ teams.

There are over 3 million hashtags on Instagram posts, and the festival shows no signs of slowing, as it celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
It is a ticketed event with day and evening sessions.
