Derby Christmas 2024 Switch Off in photos: Spot yourself in festive gallery

One Derby business is advocating this ‘festive time-out’ by hosting an event with a twist.

Derby Artcore celebrated its Christmas Switch Off on Thursday, December 19, 2024 and DerbyWorld went along to take part in the festivities.

The event held at Artcore Cultural Hub on Osnabruck Square brought the community together for its annual event.

Organisers held the evening event to help people ‘wind down, embrace the festive spirit, and celebrate the start of the holiday season’.

The free event saw happy crowds get together to celebrate Christmas, delicious food, festive music, and fun activities.

Zahir Shaikh, Artistic Director at Artcore England reflected on the event.

He said: “The Christmas celebration was a truly heart warming event bringing different communities together.
