Scare attraction for over 16s as mutant plants takeover Midlands farm - full details
Running for 14 nights from Friday, October 10, to Saturday, November 1, Screamfest will feature six main attractions.
Mutant plants are on the rampage at a Staffordshire farm as Screamfest launches a terrifying new scare attraction set to ‘leaf’ guests running for their lives.

Mutation Damnation will debut at Screamfest, held at the National Forest Adventure Farm in Tatenhill, Burton, on Friday, October 10.
The new maze is part of this year’s expanded lineup, which also includes two new scare zones and fresh twists to three of the six scare mazes at the popular Halloween event that draws more than 30,000 visitors each year.
Crazed clown maze Freakout has been transformed into Freakout Resurrected, Screamfest’s biggest-ever UV-themed attraction. Over 50 metres of UV artwork and new glow-in-the-dark clowns have been added to create a disturbing new take on the fan favourite.
The 2025 scare zones will add more fright-night space with two uniquely themed walk-through experiences, offering all the terror of the larger mazes in a shorter format.
Tom Robinson, who has run Screamfest with his brother Ivor since 2012, said: “We’re really excited about this year’s lineup. Every year we aim to create something new to bring shocks and laughs to visitors, and this year is no different. With new elements across all our scares, a fun twist to Freakout Resurrected, and a new maze attraction, Mutation Damnation, it promises to be another frightfully fun year.”
The new attraction features custom prosthetics, costumes, and sets across an acre of maize maze, including three 830 sq ft walk-throughs and 17 live actors. Guests will face claustrophobic tunnels and mutant plants taking over a genetically modified food facility.
