Watch: Spend the weekend at Derbyshire's epic YNot Festival with us
Highlights included Noel Gallagher, Snow Patrol, The Kooks and Scouting For Girls
Festival season is in full swing, and earlier this month, YNot once again took over Pike Hall, attracting people to Derbyshire for a weekend filled with incredible music.
Some of the artists included the likes of Noel Gallagher’s High-flying Birds, Jamie T, Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks, Declan Mckenna and the Vaccines, and much more.
Watch our Vlog above to see some of our favourite moments from the weekend.
My YNot festival experience kicked off on Thursday, the sun was out, and everyone’s spirits were high, the first act I saw was Scouting for Girls, who brought incredible energy to the main stage. Roy Stride's stage presence was amazing, and he kept the audience engaged throughout their set.
They performed all their biggest hits and even covered Busted, which got the crowd screaming. While Scouting for Girls wasn't initially at the top of my list to see, by the end of their set, I was eager to see them live again.
They were followed by the Kaiser Chiefs, but I was somewhat disappointed because they didn't seem to engage the audience as much as Scouting for Girls did.
The night for me then continued in Club Malibu where we sang our hearts out to all the party hits excited for what the next few days would bring.
On Friday, the main part of the festival started, and all the stages were open. It was time to fully immerse myself in the music.
We spent the day wandering around the arena, admiring all the delicious food on offer, and buying the sweaters we needed for the late evenings at the Hog n Barrel tent.
The standout acts for me on Friday were The Kooks, whom I have seen a few times and who never disappoint, Jake Bugg, whose music brought many of my friends to tears, Soft Play, who brought the party, Sigma who psyched everyone up for the late night with their incredible energy and, of course, Snow Patrol, who brought all ages together to sing some of their biggest hits.
The thing that I loved about Friday was the sheer range of artists playing, there was something for everyone.
Saturday at Ynot will always be a highlight for me. It's the day to get ready in your fancy dress and head to Mr. Motivator at 11 am to start your day perfectly. If you haven’t done Mr. Motivator before, you're missing out. It's a great time to warm up your body, have a laugh with your friends, and get ready for the day. This year was amazing, and there were some great outfits.

My friends were dressed as traffic cones and were thrilled when everyone wanted a photo with them. There were also tons of people dressed up with some of the best ones including chocolate bars, A T-Rex, wizards, tequila, and The Flintstones.
Although I didn’t personally dress up, a couple of my friends and I collected sausage sandwiches for everyone. I mean, name a better way to start the day.
We then went back to our tents to freshen up for the day and made our way back to the arena to indulge in some more music. First, we watched Deco who put on a great performance, getting the audience involved in their set.
Then we made our way to 'Barrioke' in the Flamingo Jack's tent, where people crowded for the opportunity to sing karaoke alongside the star of Eastenders, Extras, and Life’s Too Short, Shaun Williamson.
We only stayed for a bit as we wanted to see Declan McKenna on the main stage, but we got to see many of the audience take to the stage to sing some proper classics. It was so nice with everyone singing together and rooting for each other, and after all, you can't go wrong with a bit of karaoke.

Declan McKenna was amazing on the main stage. To be honest, he was the person I was most excited to see the whole weekend. I just love his music, and he did not disappoint, bringing great energy to the stage.
‘Brazil’ got everyone on people's shoulders, including myself! You just felt so connected to everyone, and of course, "British Bombs" was incredible to see live, with everyone creating mosh pits and jumping around, singing their hearts out.
He was then followed by headliner Jamie T, who impressed the YNot crowds with his energy and performance.
His famous songs "Sticks and Stones," "Zombie," and "Sheila" got the audience jumping altogether, and the energy was just electric.
On Sunday, the highlights for me were the vaccines and, of course, Noel Gallagher’s High-Flying Birds. However, I also need to mention Holly Humberstone.
She evoked strong emotions in the crowd and was a great performer to see and I can't wait to see her grow in the future, especially with the new announcement of her supporting Taylor Swift.
It may be pretty difficult to get tickets to see her in the future. Following Holly Humberstone on the main stage was The Vaccines, their setlist, featured top hits like "If You Wanna" and "I Always Knew," which were incredible live.
I’ve listened to the band for quite a long time myself so seeing them live was an experience I’ll never forget. The audience engagement and electric energy left me eager for more.
Noel Gallagher and the High-Flying Birds then wrapped up the weekend with a powerful performance, uniting fans of all ages. Although the newer songs initially received a tepid response, "If I Had a Gun" had everyone singing along.
The set list only got better and better from there, with the audience knowing every word. The performance ended with "Don't Look Back in Anger."
The atmosphere was electric, and it was evident that everyone couldn't wait to secure their tickets for next year's YNot festival.
