Road closures: five for South Derbyshire drivers over the next fortnight
Drivers in and around South Derbyshire will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A50, from 8am February 10 to 6pm February 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A50 DBFO - Foston Hatton Hilton/Derby Southern Bypass - A38 Interchange to A511 Interchange - eastbound and westbound, - diversion Route - Amey Staffs.
• A50, from 7pm November 27 2023 to 5am March 7 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A50 DBFO - Derby Southern Bypass - A38 Toyota Interchange, junction 4 to Chellaston Interchange, junction 3 - eastbound and westbound, - Lane one and two closures - drainage survey works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:

Hide Ad• A50, from 7pm February 15 to 5am February 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A50 DBFO - Foston Hatton Hilton Bypass - A511, junction westbound, entry slip full closure and mainline westbound, lane one closure - Vegetation removal works.
• A38, from 8pm February 15 to 5am February 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 northbound, Findern to Mickleover, Lane closure due to maintenance works.
• A38, from 9pm February 23 to 6am February 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 northbound, Egginton to Findern, Lane one closure for carriageway maintenance works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
