Derby businesses are gearing up for one of the busiest times of year with Small Business Saturday this weekend.
Small Business Saturday, a day that celebrates local and independent businesses, will take place on December 2, 2023. Plenty of Derby businesses are excited to participate and people can browse a range of shops covering fashion, interior design, leisure, and more.

Widely considered to be an ‘antidote to Black Friday,’ Small Business Saturday is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign highlighting small business success. It aims to encourage people to support their local economy by shopping at small businesses in their community.
Although the initiative itself takes place on one day, it aims to have a longer-lasting impact on small businesses as people are reminded to shop at independent shops local to them.
