Sykes Holiday Cottages created the list of the 10 best pocket-friendly spots to visit this year.
Blackpool claimed the crown, however Skegness came in at a very respectable number three spot.

It also appears to be a popular UK beach to visit, according to the latest Tripadvisor reviews.
The holiday destination has a 4.3 out of 5 star rating across 1,004 reviews.
One visitor appreciated the clean beach, writing: “Compared to lots of beaches up this end of the country, Skegness has a lot to offer and the beach is relatively clean and well kept.”
Another deems Skegness a top-tier bank holiday activity, which could be great this coming Easter.
The Skegness beach enthusiast wrote: “We visited Skegvegas on bank holiday Monday for a bit of lunch. The last we remember of Skeggy it was run down and tired looking, but now it's totally transformed, better than it's ever been, with big modern attractions and just enough old world charm.
“The fun fair is twice as big now with a great selection of rides for all ages, the shopping areas are full with very few empty units, the whole place was bustling, lively and had a great family vibe.
“We stopped off at the Three Monkeys for a drink before heading off home, such an amazing Miami Beach style bar with upstairs balcony and upper floor concert venue, fantastic. We will be returning to Skegvegas very soon.”
