Derby cafe on the hunt for new owners amid 'big changes' to high street coffee shop

A Derby cafe is urging people to follow their dreams and become a coffee house owner.

No. 10 Coffee Derby at St. Peter's Churchyard occupies a prime city centre spot.

Based on the ground floor of No. 10 Hair Salon, No. 10 Coffee House is a bustling eatery on the lookout for someone who has dreams of owning a coffee shop.

DerbyWorld understands the current owner of the catering arm is stepping away from the No. 10 Coffee House, so the hunt is on for a new owner.

The ‘new owner announcement’ was posted on social media on February 6, 2025.

The post said ‘big changes’ are on the horizon for the coffee house and issued a call-out for people who had ‘dreamed of owning a coffee shop’.

No. 10 Coffee House has been serving homemade cakes, sandwiches, loose leaf teas and coffee made with locally roasted beans since October 2019.
