Full list of exciting new city restaurants open 2025 includes al fresco street food court, tea room in Derby

As we reach the mid-way point of the year, we think it’s important to celebrate the ever evolving dining scene in Derby.

There are always new eateries launching, and any self-respecting foodie is no doubt keen to keep tabs on where to dine, and who is serving what.

It’s been a big month for the city as Derby Market Hall reopened last month.

Traders offering a taste of the globe - from mini Dutch pancakes to fiery Jerk chicken - mean it is an easy place to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner all under one roof.

Bouquet has moved location and the independent wine bar and shop continues to delight locals in Little Eaton.

Not yet open but due to launch later this year are Chicking, La Burrata and Scone Factory which is likely to be a pop-up.
