Chloe opened Buttermilk in 2014, to serve breakfast, brunch and light lunches from the quaint courtyard site.
Writing about The Tasting Club’s new ownership after revealing a need to prioritise family life, Chloe wrote: ‘Rest assured, you’re in safe hands! George at The Tasting Club will be taking over, and I wish him every success in the next chapter.
‘Thank you for all your love, support, and wonderful memories. Here’s to new adventures and cherished moments with family.’

It will be taking over the premises, transforming the cafe into a neighbourhood restaurant.
George Bloor is chef and owner of The Tasting Club; a building renovation is set to take place in February 2025, with the restaurant gearing up for a spring launch in March.
Posting on social media, George from The Tasting Club said: “I am ridiculously excited to announce the next chapter in our Brailsford story. We will be taking the whole site and doing a full renovation.

“Another huge addition is that we’ll be using the downstairs dining room as well. So that will basically be a ‘Chefs’ Dining Room’ type area, slightly more quaint, cosier, just taking around five tables per evening for foodies who want to watch the kitchen, our chefs at work. We might even serve a few dishes ourselves.
“It’s a new string to the bow of what we have to offer.
“There will be a full kitchen renovation, so hopefully it will finally give us a better opportunity to keep pushing our food to the next level.
“So that is ridiculously exciting for a chef and hopefully for a customer. So keep your ear to the ground!

“We’ll be calling it The Tasting Club’s Greatest Hits Menu’.
“We’ll be giving you familiar, our best dishes we made over the years, for when we reopen in March.
“Thank you very much for all your support, it’s huge news here but still a lot of work to be done, hopefully we will see you all soon!”
