Travel experts at Expedia have compiled a list of the top trending destinations in the UK, naming Lincoln as number seven on the list.

As reported by Condé Nast, Melanie Fish, spokesperson for Expedia said about traveller trends: “Rising costs have Brits searching for ways to stretch their travel budget.”
Reflecting on the best time to travel, Ms Fish added: “[Expedia] Summer Outlook shows that sandwiching the summer is the key – flight prices are lower in June, and the least busy time to travel is late August.”
