Popular Derby city restaurant announces closure
One of the city’s popular restaurants has announced its closure on their website.
Thai Dusit on 8 Bold Lane, in the heart of the city, cited the ‘current economic climate’ as the reason for closure.

Hide AdThe announcement was made on the homepage of the Derby restaurant’s website.
It says: ‘It is with great sadness that after 18 years we have decided we have no choice but to close the restaurant.
‘Unfortunately in the current economic climate it just isn't financially viable to keep trading.
‘We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers, many of whom have become good friends, for their loyal custom and support over the many years we have been open for business.

Thai Dusit is one of three Thai restaurants in Derby.
They served classic dishes in a modern setting and was one of the busy eateries in the city.
DerbyWorld understands the venue has been purchased by a local charity.
