Chatsworth has released a brand-new activity programme jam-packed with fun things to do in the Peak District.

Hide AdThere is something for people of all ages to enjoy either over the weekend, the upcoming half-term and beyond.
Chatsworth’s Winter Programme features activities whilst the house and garden are closed for essential maintenance and conservation until 15 March 2025.
Enjoy a woodland stroll as you breathe in the crisp country air, dive into an art workshop to flex those creative muscles, and more.

Walks through the park and Stand Wood are a great way to connect with nature. If you don’t know where to start, what about the Chatsworth to Pilsley circuit?

They said: “Spending time outdoors, whether engaging in creative pursuits or simply enjoying the fresh air, can significantly benefit your health and well-being.
“Our winter programme is designed to inspire people and provide opportunities to get outside and try new activities, enhance their existing skills, or explore their interests alongside like-minded individuals.

Hide Ad“Although the house, garden, and farmyard are currently closed for conservation, there are still many opportunities to get involved.
“The team at Chatsworth, and our network of local artists and tutors, are passionate about their subjects and eager to share their knowledge and experience.”
Parking will be free of charge from January 6 to March 12, allowing visitors to explore Chatsworth’s free-to-access parkland and woodland.

Every penny generated by ticket sales and memberships, including the winter activities programme, goes directly to the Chatsworth House Trust.
