Derby comedy night features double headliner at ‘very special evening’
Tickets cost £6 for a full evening of hilarious comedy from top comedians
One of Derby’s top comedy nights bursting with talent is set to take place at Dubrek Studios in Derby.
People can enjoy a whole host of ace comedy acts that is an excellent mix of homegrown talent and artists from across the pond.
Hosted by Derby’s very own Lizzy Lenco and Helen Rice, the comedy night will take place on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
The double whammy of comedy features an impressive duo headliner of Sam Rhodes and Joe Stapleton who will take to the stage at 8pm at Dubrek Studios, Derby.
Fresh from a co-headlining tour of the states and filming a special in Las Vegas, they are bringing the laughs to the UK for one week only in September.

Organisers are said to be ‘thrilled’ to bring them to Dubrek.
Sam Rhodes is a comedian from South London who tours internationally, headlining in Europe, Russia and the USA.
Joe Stapleton is a comedian, poker commentator, and recipient of the Best Podcast award at the 2022 Globe Poker Awards.
In addition to these two top acts, there will be stellar support from two additional artists.
One of the support acts on the night is Eleanor Green, previously seen on BBC Radio, who will bring her inventive playful take to current topics.
Another supporting act is Willow Millard whose brand of musical comedy has been named as ‘unique’.
Organisers have been working hard to bring acclaimed talent to Derby.
A spokesperson from Happy Tuesdays said: “Our Comedy Writers Club member offer is great value.
“For only £35 per year you can attend all our events, including writing workshops and additional comedy nights, bringing one person with you for just £5.
“You can also book the sofa in advance and Lizzy will give you cake, whether you like it or not!”
Upcoming comedy nights at Dubrek Derby 2024
Tickets are also now on sale for a very Happy Tuesday in October, where Stephanie Laing will be headlining.
Stephanie is an American filmmaker whose razor sharp wit has seen her work in television series including Tracey Ullman's Visible Panty Lines, Vice Principals, and Veep.
Stephanie started performing in April 2007 on the Scottish comedy circuit. She quickly established herself as one of the most promising acts of her generation on the circuit, and in 2015 appeared as a finalist in the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year competition.
All tickets cost £6.50 (includes booking fee).
