Derby Summer Sessions’ 2025 headliner has been announced with eighties legends Simple Minds.

It is expected to be a highly anticipated return of the TK Maxx Presents Derby Summer Sessions concert.

The concert follows the success of last year’s inaugural Derby Summer Sessions, which featured world-class headliners such as Madness, Tom Jones and Becky Hill.

The concert will take place on Tuesday, July 8 at Markeaton Park.

Tickets will go on general sale on Friday, October 4, 2024.

It is the second in the series of music events which is a collaboration between Live Nation and leading live music and event promoter Cuffe & Taylor.

The iconic band will also take to the stage at Southampton Summer Sessions and Bedford Summer Sessions.
