Luckily there are plenty of ace things to do in Derby, some we feel that are downright magical.
Derby is a city that can be great fun, which is why we have curated a round-up of magical things to do in Derby.
You can make a day of it and enjoy the delights of Derby for a whole day, or if you’re on a time limit, you can slot these activities around lunch and dinner.
If you’re only in the city for a few hours and want a bite to eat, there are plenty of good restaurants in Derby that serve scrumptious fayre.
The newly opened Derby Market Hall - which also features on our magical things to do list - offers a great mix of food traders.
Other popular restaurants in the city include The Dining Room on Friar Gate, while Derbion shopping centre also has a bustling food court with big brand names including Carluccio’s and Wagamama.
