The quaint village of Newtown Linford in Leicestershire filled with thatched roof cottages and pretty buildings impressed Daily Mail who included it in their 29-strong list of poshest places in Britain.
The publication wrote: ‘Nestled in amongst the Charnwood Forest, Newtown Linford has become a real magnet for millionaires who have made their home behind lavish gated mansions.’
Luxurious, multi-million pound properties appear to be plentiful in Newtown Linford.

The Daily Mail went on to add: ‘Local amenities include a private members club, a close proximity to Bradgate Park, as well as a rare police box.
‘According to Rightmove, the majority of sales in Newtown Linford during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £1,975,600.’
The Daily Mail is understood to have consulted with local estate agents and referenced guides to create the compilation of UK’s poshest villages.
