Whisky festival near Derby features cocktails, live music and ‘spectacular dream drams’

Seven Hills Whisky Festival is to host a highly anticipated evening session at its debut autumn event in October.

Seven Hills Whisky Festival is set to take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at The Steamworks, Sheffield.

Whisky festival organisers have promised an ‘unforgettable experience for whisky enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

It could be an ideal event for those wanting to boost their whisky knowledge in the run-up to Christmas.

That way people could make informed choices and choose the best whisky to gift.

The more adventurous keen to play hosts could discover new emerging whisky trends and use their knowledge to host their very own Christmas whisky tasting at home.

The day is split into two sessions, the first from 12pm has sold out.

Tickets are still available for the later evening session which runs from 6pm till 9.30pm.

Speaking to DerbyWorld co-founder Danielle Hill said: “With over 200 whiskies to sample, including a dream dram list that’s truly spectacular, people will have the chance to explore a world of flavours.

“Mitchell’s Whisky Shop will be on site, so you can purchase the bottles you love.

“Plus, we’ve curated 13 exclusive masterclasses, a highball cocktail bar, an oyster bar, and live DJ sets – ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
